Hi...I suspect that my paternal grandmother was a patient at and in fact, may have died at Maybury. Is there a way that I can find out if she was a patient there? Her death certificate signed in Detroit, Mi in 1934 lists her cause of death as TB. It also lists what looks like East Lawn Sanitarium as her address but I cannot find any information on this and thought perhaps Maybury may have been called East Lawn at one time. Do you have any ideas that can help me?

You can contact Herman Keifer Hospital for patient records. Some have been able to get the information they needed that way. I do not have any records other than that from patients families that have shared info.
