Yes my name is John Carl Kuhn. I was treated at Maybury Sanatorium when I was five or six years old. I really don't remember the place that much, but some things are still in my mine. We had lived in Detroit at the time. I do remember looking out a big window by my bed, there was a field of mowed grass, after that was woods. I don't think I knew at the time why I was really there. My mom and dad would come to see me each week, and bring me gifts. I remember one time my dad brought me a tv, black and white, at that time, so I could watch with my buddies. Like I said, I don't recall much, I don't know how long I was there, but was sure glad to go home. Does anyone know of what they did with all ones records, after it was closed? Would the Detroit Health Dept. have them. I have a had time explaining my uper GI xrays sometimes to my doctors, They get scare of the masses that tuberculosis left on my left lung, if I could only get my old records, or are they still around somewhere.
